Wildlife, beaches, friendly people, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Mt Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar Archipelago – Tanzania has all these and more wrapped up in one adventurous, welcoming package.


Known as the loveliest lake in Africa, Lake Manyara is a beautiful shallow fresh-water alkaline lake in the Rift Valley Province of the Arusha region of Tanzania. Home to a diverse set of landscapes and wildlife, the region around the lake is protected, and known as the Lake Manyara National Park, a narrow strip of land running between the Gregory Rift Wall to the west and Lake Manyara to the east. Other fauna thriving in the region include impalas, baboons, wildebeests, elephants, warthogs, giraffes, buffalos, leopards, and many other animals. The Rift Valley also provides a spectacular backdrop to Lake Manyara.


Day 1
Welcome to Tanzania and the Great Rift Valley

This morning you will be met by our representative at the airport. Our driver-guides will transfer you to the quaint little township of Arusha where you will enjoy a delicious lunch followed by a departure for Lake Manyara Conservancy in the Tanzanian Great Rift Valley. Here we arrive at the beautiful Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, a beautiful property set on a vantage hill point overlooking the Lake and the forests beyond. Check in and spend a relaxed afternoon at the Lake. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 2
Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

This morning, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast followed by departure for a game drive into the Lake Manyara National Park. Spot mighty elephants, tree climbing lions and many others such as antelopes, zebra, gazelle, impala and hartebeest. If we are lucky, we may even see the elusive leopard. After a 4 hours’ morning game drive, we will return back to the lodge at around noon for a delicious luncheon followed by check out and departure for the Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area, which is at a short distance of around 45 minutes only. Here we arrive at the beautiful Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the sheer magnificence of the Crater. Stay overnight at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 3
Ngorongoro, the World’s Largest Caldera

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

Wake up early today, enjoy a hearty breakfast and then depart with picnic lunches for the floor of the Crater to enjoy the rich wildlife of Ngorongoro, the world’s largest caldera formed millions of years ago during the formation of the Great Rift Valley. You will enjoy some exceptional wildlife sightings today in the most magnificent setting in the world. Enjoy a wonderful game drive with a picnic lunch on the floor of the crater followed by our mid-afternoon return to the Lodge where you enjoy a relaxed evening. Stay overnight at the Lodge.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park, the mightiest of all game parks in the world. Here you will enjoy some spectacular game driving over the next 3 days. Armed with our picnic lunches, we are in no hurry to get anywhere but to watch the wildlife. En route to the Serengeti Serena Lodge, we will stop at the Retima Hippo Pools where we will witness a congregation of over 400 hippos. After our picnic here, we enjoy a short drive to the magnificent Serengeti Serena Lodge perched upon a hilltop. Enjoy a fine dinner with a relaxed evening at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 5
Explore the Rich Wildlife at Serengeti National Park

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

Today, we enjoy a spectacular day as we wake up early in the morning for a pre-breakfast game drive and one after lunch. We will see herds of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelle. Serengeti is home to over 3 million wildebeest, eight hundred thousand zebra, cats, lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and many other wild animals. Enjoy the most wonderful time of your life watching nature at its best. Enjoy your lunch and dinner at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 6
Serengeti to Arusha

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and thereafter depart for Arusha with picnic lunches. We arrive into Arusha after a drive through the best of the Tanzanian Highlands and many coffee plantations. We will stop en route for a picnic lunch followed by our arrival at the Arusha Mountain Village in the afternoon. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at the Arusha Mountain Village.

Day 7
Departure from Tanzania

Meals: Breakfast

After a lovely breakfast, we depart for Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport for your flight back home.

Known as the cradle of civilization, the Ngorongoro is a region in North-West Tanzania which contains an old volcano with a crater or caldera. The slopes of this famous crater are home to astonishing number of species of flora and fauna, many of them unique to the region. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken and un-flooded volcanic caldera, formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago. Now known as Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the region is also the site of hominid and human habitation for the millions of years. Wildlife here includes the rare black rhinoceros, wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, hippopotamus, wild dogs, flamingos, cheetahs, and hyenas, among many others.


One of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world, the Serengeti National Park is a home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, a diverse topography, and the largest overland migration in the world, which is a semi-annual occurrence. Located in North Tanzania, the park also spills over into Kenya. Serengeti in the Masai language means ‘endless plains’. The park is also famous for its high concentration of lions, which is the highest in the world. Other species to be seen in the park include: leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, buffalos, gazelles, cheetahs, and giraffes.


Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania. The City of Arusha is the capital of the Arusha Region, with a projected population of 1,288,088, including 516,000 for the Arusha District (2007 census). The city of Arusha is surrounded by some of Africa’s most famous landscapes and national parks. Situated below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to SerengetiNgorongoro CraterLake ManyaraOlduvai GorgeTarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro and The Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.
